A Trokt Action Plan allows parents, teachers, specialists, and the administration to continually and collaboratively refine and document effective classroom techniques that can be directly copy-pasted as accommodations or modifications in future IEP meetings.
Trokt Action Plans allow all members of an IEP team to quickly view any accommodation or modification for their student on any computer or mobile device, discuss how an accommodation could be improved, attach reference material, and record when everyone agrees to a change that needs to happen in the classroom or within an IEP.
When linked to Trokt Tracker (http://tracker.trokt.org or available the iTunes and Google Play), Trokt provides a full collaboration management, issue reporting, and progress tracking system that produces the following benefits:

The following sections will walk you through how to create an action plan within Trokt.
Adding a New Accommodation
If you are creating an Action Plan for the first time, or are adding a new accommodation into the Action Plan, you must first create a New Block. This is done by clicking where you want the block added.
Once you have the Block to work in, you want to select the text describing your accommodation and paste it into the Block. It is best if you paste AS PLAIN TEXT to ensure no unusual or legacy formatting is brought into Trokt.
Once saved, the draft language in the Block will be visible to team members and can be shared with other teams.
Discussing Solutions
Team members will have successes, challenges, or ideas that should be documented in an action plan, yet may not require a face-to-face IEP meeting or modification. These general successes, challenges, or ideas can be raised as Comments in the Discussion Tab.
Anyone who can see a comment can use the Discussion tab to brainstorm ideas by directly replying or liking a comment. If a reply merits it's own discussion, it can be used to start it's own new discussion.
When trying to weigh up a range of options, Comments and replies can be sorted based on the number of likes a Comment and its replies have received.
NOTE: Comments are the only part of Trokt where a full history is not archived. If you make a mistake, or believe a comment is no longer relevant, the creator of a comment can delete it.
Editing, Agreeing, and Updating
Any Block can be edited and seen by other team members at any time by opening the collaboration slider, selecting the draft to edit, and sharing the draft.
Once a draft is shared, teams may AGREE to that draft by clicking agree - which will log the person, date, and time when the agreement occurred.
Agreement in Trokt DOES NOT constitute agreement to an IEP modification, unless all protocols have been followed with respect to electronic meetings as per the 2004 modifications to IDEA. However, if these changes are agreed to in Trokt by all of the teams, IEP meetings can be more efficient because the language in the Action Plan can be Copied and Pasted directly into the IEP once formal agreement is reached.
